Organized each year in back up of our collections, the Vogue Paris Foundation Gala is a major outcome of the Paris Fashion Week. This year, its 6th edition won't be celebrated at the Palais Galliera, currently under work, but at the Trianon Theatre in Paris. Let's have a look at the donations to our museum on this occasion!

"For its sixth edition, Vogue Paris Foundation dinner exceptionally changes the setting. Heading for the Trianon, a mythical theatre where the greatest artists have performed on stage. A tailor-made setting for this must-nourish event of the haute couture week. This festive evening, traditionally punctuated past an electrical trip the light fantastic floor, continues its mission to enrich the contemporary collections of Palais Galliera, Paris Fashion Musuem, with the support of the most prestigious manner houses and the leading actors in the mode world. Faddy Paris, for near a century now, has been committed to illuminating and staging fashion with passion in all its modernity, fantasy and brazenness. A flame of creativity that also characterizes the exceptional pieces that enrich the museum's collections this year once once again thanks to the generosity of all. I would similar to have this opportunity to thank, in association with Miren Arzalluz, Director of Palais Galliera, all our patrons and donors for their loyal back up."

- Emmanuelle Alt, Editor-in-Master of Vogue Paris

"The first time, the Faddy Paris Foundation Gala isn't historic at Palais Galliera. The Paris Fashion Museum, which has entered in an historical menstruum of piece of work supported by Chanel'due south patronage, will inaugurate the get-go permanent style galleries in French republic in 2020. Thank you to Vogue Paris Foundation, this sixth edition in favour of contemporary cosmos contributes to enrich of the Palais Galliera'south collections with more than than lx pieces. As we celebrate the tenth anniversary of Alexander McQueen'south death, we wanted to pay special tribute to this major creator whose influence is nonetheless tangible. Virtually absent-minded from way museums in France, her work is now embodied in the acquisition of five of her about famous fashion shows, from "Irere" (leap-summer 2003) to her latest finished collection, "Plato'southward Atlantis" (spring-summer 2010). Major figures of gimmicky style, from Comme des Garçons to Martin Margiela and Junya Watanabe, brand upwardly this selection alongside two unique pieces created by Gabrielle Chanel at the cease of her career. Among the groovy names in men's fashion, silhouettes by Rick Owens and Walter Van Beirendonck illustrate the creative revival of this discipline. I would like to sincerely thank Vogue Paris and Emmanuelle Alt for their trust, as well as all the fashion houses that faithfully back up Palais Galliera through their patronage or generous donations. I am thinking of Balenciaga, Balmain, Burberry, Celine, Christian Dior, Givenchy, Gucci, Isabel Marant, Jean Paul Gaultier, John Galliano, Kenzo, Loewe, Marine Serre, Nina Ricci, Prada, Rick Owens, Saint Laurent, Y/Project and finally Chanel, whose silhouette presented tonight is the occasion for a sincere tribute to Karl Lagerfeld'southward career and unique influence on style history .
